After selling our potpourri, wreaths and candles at craft fairs at locations ranging from Kingston to Saratoga Springs for years, we are proud to announce that our shop, Orange Clove Primitives, is now open! We have new furniture peices. We now carry a four door plasma cabinet, which I really want to take home, but my husband reminds me that the object is to send it home with someone else.

We also had a three door cabinet and hutch top which we just delivered this week. We also have a sofa table in antique white and several other new Amish peices.

This week I made several new buckets of florals, lots of spring wreaths and rusty and burgundy scoops decorated with berries and fabric.

Our first annual sale was a huge success and tons of fun. Thanks to everyone who came!

We are busy planning our Fall Open House for August 15th, 16th & 17th. I'm working on putting together our gift bag with any $20 purchase. So far, it includes a Blossom Bucket Pumpkin and Fall Candle Ring, a Fall Coaster and a few other things. We will give them away while supplies last. Our door prize will be a gift box of salsas and dip mixes. We will also have lots of fall decorating ideas for your home.

Christmas Plans:

I know it seems early but I am also working on our Christmas Open House. The date has been set for November 14th, 15th & 16th. I just placed a large order with a new company and can't wait for the order to arrive.

We already have lots of fall out in the store and you will find a few hints of Christmas to come tucked into our shelves.

Craft Shows:

This year I will do two Craft Shows; the Coleman High School Craft Fair on Nov. 8th & 9th in Kingston, and the Country Folk Art Show on Nov. 21, 22 & 23 at the Hudson Valley Community College in Troy. (Please note: We will no longer be doing the Country Folk Art Show on Sept. 19, 20, & 21st at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds in Rhinebeck)

We will be having our first annual Summer Sale June 27-29. Many items will be on sale, up to 50% off. We will be open only on Friday and Saturdays in July and we will return to regular hours in August.

We just finished the Country Folk Art Show in Troy, N.Y.

Currently, we are planning our Grand Opening for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, September 21-23. We will have samples of our three lines of dips, cheesecakes (no bake, thank goodness), and cheese spreads.

Our hours are from 10-5.

Our specials for the Grand Opening weekend are Gel Frangrances 2 for $8.00 regularly $4.50 each and 10% off all Fall Berry Wreaths. We will also be giving out a free gift with purchase while they last.
